March Madness Cancelled?

Tuesday the Ivy League became the first major NCAA conference to cancel their tournament amidst the rising panic surrounding the coronavirus. With no conference tournament champion, Yale will advance to the NCAA tournament as regular-season conference champions along with Princeton University’s Women’s team.

Is this a sign of things to come? With many conference tournaments already underway, and about 15 more or so to go will any other conferences follow suit?
Would the NCAA cancel March Madness over the fear of the spread of coronavirus? Time will tell, but the way this panic is sweeping the nation I wouldn’t rule anything out quite yet.
