NFL Draft Rumors: Eagles “most notable” team making calls to trade up in first round

We are just two days away from the 2022 NFL Draft, and teams are scrambling to make their final assessments on the upcoming class.
Philadelphia currently holds two picks in the top 20, but it may not stay that way for long. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Eagles are the “most notable’ team making calls to potentially trade up in the draft:
“One of the teams I would say most notably making calls about potentially trading up is the Philadelphia Eagles, which is no surprise. Every year around this time it seems that Howie Roseman is interested in doing a lot of things. Moving up is one, moving back is another — he wants to keep his options open.”
“Moving up is a fascinating one, because you do wonder if the Eagles move up from 15 — and, of course, they do have plenty of ammunition — who would they be targeting? Potentially, would a corner be someone they would be targeting? Would it be an edge rusher, would a [Kayvon] Thibodeaux slide? … No one loves trades more than Howie Roseman.”

Edge-rusher and wide receiver have been rumored as positions of priority for Howie Roseman in this draft. If Oregon pass-rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux were to fall on Thursday night, the Eagles may be within striking distance.
Other trade-up candidates could include safety Kyle Hamilton and CB Derek Stingley Jr.
