Great work by Kyle here. I’m honestly disappointed that the night Dollar Dog Night isn’t returning until September 21st but even the small wins are wins. Maybe Kyle can work his magic again and get one bumped up this summer rather than the end of the season when the Phillies will most likely be wrapping up another disappointing season and extending their playoff drought to a miserable 11 years.Â
Kyle – when you read this, and I know you will, feel free to pitch the Dollar Dog Days of Summer idea to Citizens Bank Park where any Phillies game when the temperature is above lets say, 90 degrees, then all hot dogs at Citizens Bank Park are back to being one dollar. Thank me later it’s a killer idea.Â
With all the hype surrounding Kyle’s efforts to bring back dollar dogs, it looks like Sports & Social at Live! Casino & Hotel are joining in on the movement. During every Phillies home game for the rest of the regular season, they will be selling dollar dogs with all proceeds going to local animal rescue charities.
On top of that, if you bring your Phillies ticket stub, you’ll have access to post-game drink specials including $4 beer, $5 cocktails, and $6 wine selections.
Now we’re talking. Go catch a Phillies game, then head over to Live! and gamble away your life savings while eating hot dogs and drinking cheap beer and liquor.
That’s the American dream, baby.
