Down Bad: Phillies fan gets rejected a million times in a row on live television

Jesus Christ. We literally can’t make it through one Phillies game without fans totally embarrassing themselves. Luckily this happened on the local NBC Sports broadcast. Could you imagine this going on during Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN? I doubt the national audience would be so forgiving.
Unfortunately, Phillies fans acting in disgusting fashion or being “down bad” on live television now happens pretty frequently and last night during a killer Rhys Hoskins walk-off, we were introduced to this sad sap of a soul trying to kiss this woman he’s sitting next to.
Let’s take a look. If I had to take in the second hand embarrassment you do too.
Phillies fan rejected a MILLION TIMES on NBC Sports broadcast
Four or five failed attempts? Seriously dude? And the first few you literally got out of your seat trying to kiss her while she didn’t even look at you? The lack of self-awareness is mind boggling. Why does this type of shit keep happening at Phillies games?
I know the team has been hot lately and the beers are flowing as the weather heats up in South Philadelphia but we have to keep some level of respect and class inside the walls of Citizens Bank Park, right?
We really still need a simple question answered before we can really dive in on a decision as to who is in the wrong here. Are these two married or not? Im not seeing any rings so I’ll have to say no.
This is one stone cold woman right here letting this man die over and over again but of course, if they aren’t together and he keeps trying to kiss her when she clearly has zero interest in doing so, then he’s a total creep.
Side Note: The guy in the green hat definitely thought they were going to kiss at first and tried to play it off like a fun little thing happening until he realized that the woman wasn’t interested, at all.
Is it possible this guy overplayed his hand after getting the arm placement around this woman’s shoulders locked in? Did he think that a kiss would be a lock because he had the around-the-shoulder advantage? Rookie move. That means absolutely nothing. Even more so when you have a camera shoved into your face and are being told to wave.
It is pretty interesting the guy keeps his hand wrapped around her shoulder though right? At that point you have to retreat at all costs. Maybe just rip off your clothes and jump the fence at that point. There’s no way you can sit there and continue to watch the game next her, dude.
Ban this guy from Citizens Bank Park. He’s a menace to society.
It’s over. Get a grip.
That brings me back to the lack of self-awareness from the guy here. How many times do you have to get rejected. The term “just keep swinging” doesn’t even apply here. Every time we are presented with a video of this that’s really the main point of frustration.
Anyways, Phillies are back in action tonight against the Fish at CBP trying to keep pace with the Atlanta Braves and the Mets in the NL East. Ring it.
