According to Alex Coffey, Marsh will take DH duties tonight and play outfield tomorrow for the IronPigs, which could possibly mean a Saturday return to the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Phillies sent Marsh to the 10-Day IL, retro to August 17th after he tried to climb the wall and keep a baseball from leaving the park in the third inning of a game against the Reds on August 16th. Luckily for Marsh, he just came down awkwardly on his knee and suffered a minor sprained ankle, avoiding any longterm injuries.
The Phillies will be looking for a 4-game sweep of the Reds tonight with Aaron Nola on the mound before opening up a weekend series against the Pittsburgh Pirates tomorrow at Citizens Bank Park.
