Bryce Harper, man of the people, gifts autographed baseball bat to fan who also broke his thumb on June 25th

Bryce Harper continues to show the world why he’s the man of the people.
After treating both the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and the opposing team to multiple dinners during his rehab stint in the minor leagues, another story came out yesterday. This time, Harper sent an autographed bat to a young fan who broke his thumb on June 25th, the same day as Harper.

Obviously, that’s a killer PR move by Harper’s camp but lets also shoutout Sam D’Lauro’s teammates, who reached out to Harper with a killer letter in support of their injured teammate.
Off the field, we continue to get great stories like this from Harper, and while they’re all heart-warming, I think we all need to make sure we don’t blow a 7-0 lead and allow 13 unanswered runs to the freaking Diamondbacks, or literally anyone else, for the remainder of the season.
