Jason Peters signing with the Dallas Cowboys is great news for the Philadelphia Eagles

Jason Peters is not done yet. According to reports this morning, the Philadelphia Eagles legend will be extending his career and signing with the Dallas Cowboys.
Peters will begin the season on the practice squad after missing the entirety of training camp, but let’s all hope he finds a starting job on the Dallas Cowboys offensive line.
Jason Peters Signing with the Dallas Cowboys
Peters who will turn 41 in January 2023, spent 11 years with the Philadelphia Eagles after being traded to the team from the Buffalo Bills in 2009. He made seven consecutive Pro Bowls from 2009-2016, was a member of the Eagles Super Bowl team. During the 2020 season, Peters battled with injuries and Jordan Mailata ended up taking over duties at the left tackle spot for the Eagles.Â
Peters then joined the Chicago Bears and was pretty horrible, which is why him signing with the Dallas Cowboys to collect one last paycheck before hanging up the cleats is simply fantastic.
There’s a lot of people on the internet saying how horrible this is and that it will be tough to see Peters wearing a Dallas Cowboys jersey.
I couldn’t disagree more.Â
Honestly, I am very excited for Jason Peters to join the Dallas Cowboys.
This is great news for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Does it suck to see Peters wearing a Dallas Cowboys jersey? I mean I guess, but I really don’t give a shit. Everyone needs to suck it up and realize that Peters is in his 40s and completely WASHED on a football field. Obviously, that’s not to take away from is hall of fame career but to think that he’s anywhere near a productive offensive lineman at this point is just silly.Â
If the Dallas Cowboys are going to actually play start the 40-year old Jason Peters then they are doomed. The Eagles defensive line will FEAST on Peters and the Cowboys will be absolutely terrible.
Book it. Go Birds. Dallas SUCKS.
