Braves media members, players did NOT like Jose Alvarado asking for the mound to be fixed during Game 1 of the NLDS

The Philadelphia Phillies took down Max Fried and the Atlanta Braves in Game 1 of the NLDS and of course, Braves fans and media members are NOT happy about it.
I don’t blame them honestly. With our third guy in the rotation in Ranger Suarez on the mound while you’re running your “ACE” in Max Fried out there Game 1 before having to deal with Zack Wheeler and Aaron Nola, it was a must win game for your ball club.
So of course, they’re all trying to find reasons as to why this happened and somehow landed on Jose Alvarado to point fingers at and blame for their loss.
Alvarado took the bump in the 8th inning and before he started, asked the Braves grounds crew to come out and fix the mound.

After the game, Alvarado explained the situation to Alex Coffey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Of course, Alvarado handled like a true professional while Braves media members cried like babies on social media.
Get a load of this guy:
Mark Bowman even quoted some bozo by the name of “E O’Flaherty” who apparently thought that if Alvarado wanted a clean mound then he should be a starter?
Yeah okay dude.
How about yes? Fix your fucking mound you dorks. If Alvarado doesn’t like it, I would have waited until Christmas for it to be fixed properly.
As for Guillermo Heredia chirping from the dugout.
He is horrible. Who does he think he’s talking to?
New rule for the rest of the series. If you only have 76 at-bats during the regular season and you’re batting .158 then you shouldn’t even be allowed to speak. Period. Keep your mouth shut and do something on the diamond before you say a word to anyone.
Up Next for the Phillies
Zack Wheeler on the mound tomorrow as the Phillies look to take the first two in Atlanta before returning to Citizens Bank Park for Game 3 on Friday.
RING IT.
