LISTEN: Padres Radio Broadcast of the Kyle Schwarber Home Run is Amazing

Maybe I’m sick, but man, do I love listening to opposing fanbases absolutely suffer. Their pain is truly my pleasure, and nothing captured that feeling more than Kyle Schwarber’s massive home run last night against the San Diego Padres.
Padres Radio Call of Kyle Schwarber Home Run
Kyle Schwarber’s home run at 119.7 mph was the hardest-hit home run in the postseason in the Statcast era. It’s the second furthest home run ever hit at 488 feet, just three feet behind Willson Contreras’ 2017 NLCS homer. The 488-foot distance was the longest of Schwarber’s career and longest in the 19-year history of Petco Park.
With players like Kyle Schwarber, all it takes is one or two swings to get back-on-track. He struggled early in the playoffs but if he has found his swing yet again, with the way that Bryce Harper is already playing during the postseason, then the Phillies are going to be a VERY dangerous team at the plate for the remainder of the playoffs.
