Amazon Alexa predicts World Series winner, says Phillies and “Houston You’re Going To Have Problem”

Say what you want about robots, but when they are on your side, it’s hard to not welcome their support. In this case, Amazon Alexa is rooting for the Philadelphia Phillies when the 2022 World Series begins Friday night in Houston against the Astros.
There are a few different videos floating around the internet, but here’s a news clip from Fox29, who had one of their staff members as our robot overlords who would win the World Series.
Alexa Picks The Philadelphia Phillies to win the 2022 World Series
Alexa: “This year, I’m a Philly Phanatic. The Astros might be the favorite, but allow me a little name-dropping: Zack Wheeler and Aaron Nola, two bonafide starting pitchers for the Phillies with magical right arms. So my pick goes to the underdog, the Philadelphia Phillies who are on a roll, knocking out three tough opponents with strong pitching and timely hitting. Houston you’re going to have a problem.”
Side Note: According to 6ABC, Alexa gives the same answer outside the Philadelphia area.
Who would have thought Alexa knew baseball? With the Phillies sending Aaron Nola to the mound in Game 1 and Zack Wheeler to the mound in Game 2, both in Houston, there’s always a strong chance that they can return to Philadelphia, just like they did in both the NLDS and NLCS after splitting on the road.

From there, it’s all about timely hitting, which we have seen time and time again at Citizens Bank Park this postseason. From Rhys Hoskins hitting not one, but two 2-run home runs in Game 4, then hitting another one in Game 5, which set the stage for Bryce Harper’s legendary moment in a Phillies uniform.

Again, I’m not one to ever side with Amazon, Bezos, or just robots in general, but when they are pandering to you leading up to the 2022 World Series, then we’ll take all the support we can get.
RING IT.
