LISTEN: Houston hotel plays Phillies’ Dancing On My Own on Lobby Speakers, proving their city is even softer than initially thought

The Philadelphia Phillies will begin their quest to be crowned World Champions of Baseball tonight in Houston. Aaron Nola will take the mound against Justin Verlander. The hype is through the roof across social media and now we’re finally getting some video footage coming in from the boots on the ground in Houston.
Houston Hotel Plays Phillies’ Dancing On My Own on Lobby Speakers
This is a bad look for the city of Houston. How in the world do you allow this song to play anywhere in the city? Game 1 of the 2022 World Series is about to start and you have Dancing On My Own playing? Not shot this would ever be allowed in Philadelphia with an opposing team’s “song”.
Sometimes you need to take a stand. I’m shocked that the city of Houston is so spineless.
Even if they were asked or hell, even paid to play the song, there’s absolutely no way I would EVER honor that type of request.
Actually, I’m not. The Houston Astros are a franchise riddled in cheating scandals and steroid users. They are an embarrassment to the beautiful game of baseball so honestly, this makes perfect sense.
Phans of Philly, was this you? I wouldn’t be surprised after what you were able to pull off during the Eagles-Cardinals trip to Arizona while also throwing two EPIC watch parties for the Phillies-Cardinals Wild Card series.
Regardless, this is a great sign for the Phillies.
RING IT.
