AJ Brown tapes $100 bills under his shoulder pads as motivation to keep stacking up yards and touchdowns

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown set career highs yesterday with 156 receiving yards and three touchdowns against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now, he’ll post yet another $100 bill under his shoulder pads.
According to Josh Tolentino at the Inquirer, Brown revealed how he tapes $100 bills under his shoulder pads as motivation.
AJ Brown $100 Bills
Following his monstrous outing, Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown is going to need to find a local ATM.
Brown recently revealed to The Inquirer that after every 100-yard mark he exceeds throughout the season, the 25-year-old wideout withdraws exactly $100, and he attaches each Benjamin Franklin bank note to the back of his shoulder pads with scotch tape. Entering Week 8, Brown had five separate $100 bills conveniently hidden underneath his No. 11 jersey.
“It just inspires me to keep stacking,” Brown said.
I honestly could care less what AJ Brown does to keep himself motivated, however if $100 bills taped under his shoulder pads keeps him putting up massive numbers like yesterday, then by all means, let’s keep it rolling. He now has 659 receiving yards and five touchdowns on the season and as mentioned, his ridiculous performance yesterday helped the Eagles claim an easy 35-13 victory and improve to 7-0 on the season.
Plus, being the gentleman that Brown is, every $100 bill is then donated to charity at the end of the season.
AJ Brown Donates All The Money to Charity
Nobody is able to see the cash strapped to Brown’s pads, but he uses this personal secret as a form of extra motivation. It’s a tradition he started in Tennessee, and he has carried it over to Philadelphia. His goal is to always exceed $1,000 or the 1,000-yard mark. He has accomplished the feat in two of his three NFL seasons. At the end of the season, Brown said, he donates the accumulated money to charity.
