Embarrassing: Houston fans describe trip to Philly to watch Phillies, Astros World Series at Citizens Bank Park

A bizarre new video popped up on social media today featuring a couple, who are Houston Astros fans, describing their experience when they traveled to Philadelphia for the World Series.
Houston Astros Fans Complain About Phillies Crowd at Citizens Bank Park
I really don’t even understand what I just watched. It seems like a bad Saturday Night Live skit and I really can’t believe that this couple are actually real people. Were they planted in the Philadelphia crowd just to go on Houston radio to bash this fanbase? I honestly don’t know.
“The trip was going great until they got to the stadium.”
Uhhhh..ya think? You showed up to Citizens Bank Park wearing a bunch of Astros gear during the World Series. What else did you expect to happen? Seriously though, who the hell comes to Philadelphia and expects anything less than getting a few middle middle fingers and bad words thrown their way?
How do people that are such die hard sports fans that they would “spend their vacation money” to fly across country to watch the Astros play baseball not realize that when you come to Philadelphia to play sports, that our fan base is one of the most dedicated, passionate groups in the entire country?
Oh and that whole “heart” thing that the Astros and whatever this woman with the crazy eyeliner was doing is stupid. Period.
The entire narrative that Philadelphia fans are the worst fanbase in sports needs to end. Every fanbase has bad eggs and what this couple described was literally nothing of substance. Embarrassing on all accounts. Not to mention, the only “fuck you” I heard during the playoffs was none other than Mattress Mack in the concourse at Game 3. Give me a break.
In the end, this video just gave me the upmost confidence in the Philadelphia Phillies to go into Houston and win the next two games to be crowned World Champions of Baseball.
