Bird Bets: Eagles Wide Receivers, Jalen Hurts, and the Titans Running Game

The Tennessee Titans are in Philadelphia to take on the Eagles tomorrow at 1PM. Both teams are sitting pretty at the top of their respective divisions, but both need to continue winning if they want to secure the top spots in each conference heading into the playoffs. Â

Titans-Eagles: Anytime TD Scorers
The main focus tomorrow should be the passing game, which is why I’m going heavy on the Eagles receivers and Jalen Hurts through the air tomorrow against the Tennessee Titans. I’m also looking at Derrick Henry, who has been somewhat contained over the past few weeks, to have a strong performance against an Eagles defense that has struggled to stop the running game at points throughout this season.Â
- Derrick Henry (-135)
- Jalen Hurts (+110)
- AJ Brown (+130)
- DeVonta Smith (+185)
- Quez Watkins (+440)
Target Eagles Receivers
Jalen Hurts completed just 57% of his passes last week for 153 yards and two touchdowns and will certainly be looking to exploit the Titans’ secondary much more efficiently than he did against the Packers.Â
The weakness in the Titans defense comes while defending the passing attack. They are ranked 31st in that category, while their rushing defense is ranked 3rd. Tennessee has allowed 19 passing touchdowns through 11 games.
- Quez Watkins O 28.5 (-113)
- DeVonta Smith O 59.5 (-113)
- AJ Brown O 80.5 (-113)
Jalen Hurts – Alt Passing Yards
Jalen Hurts can literally do whatever he wants on the football field. Last week, Hurts ran himself into the history books, piling up 157 rushing yards against the Packers, 102 of which game in the first quarter alone. Given the weak secondary of the Titans, I would bank on Hurts relying on his arm and the passing game against Tennessee this week, with the plus-money odds starting at 250+ yards (+162).
- Jalen Hurts 250+ Passing Yds (+162)
- Jalen Hurts 275+ Passing Yds (+300)
