Coincidence? AJ Brown dominates Titans, Tennessee fires GM Jon Robinson

AJ Brown and the Philadelphia Eagles might have just cost Tennessee Titans GM Jon Robinson his job.
The Titans are 7-5 on the season and currently sit in first place in the AFC South. It’s almost guaranteed that Tennessee will hold off everyone else in their division (Colts, Jaguars, Texas) and clinch their fourth straight postseason appearance.
With that being said, it was announced earlier today that they would be firing their GM Jon Robinson.
Robinson joined the Titans organization in 2016 and oversaw six straight winning seasons, in route to number seven before the Philadelphia Eagles and more specifically AJ Brown destroyed Tennessee last weekend.
I’m not saying there’s a direct connection to Brown and the Titans firing Robinson but it definitely is raising some eyebrows because of what happened on Sunday. You had Eagles fans trolling the Titans ownership box and then of course Brown, who hauled in eight receptions for 119 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles 35-10 win.
If you take that performance coupled with the fact that AJ Brown has 61 receptions for 950 yards and nine touchdowns through the first 12 games of the season while the wide receivers in Tennessee are in absolute shambles, it’s not crazy to make the connection.

Up Next for the Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles will spend three straight weeks on the road, with stops in New York and Chicago before heading to Dallas on Christmas Eve. They’ll return home on New Year’s Day against the New Orleans Saints before closing out the regular season at The Linc against the New York Giants on January 8th.
