The Chicago Bears will contact the NFL about Ndamukong Suh slapping Justin Field’s helmet

The Chicago Bears are expected to reach out to the NFL over the no-call on Ndamukong Suh after he slapped Justin Field’s helmet in the first half of the Eagles 25-20 win yesterday at Soldier Field.

Quick Takes: 5 Takeaways from Eagles win Chicago
It’s a weekly routine to send controversial players to the NFL for review following a game so it’s not crazy that Bears head coach Matt Eberflus wants this play from Suh checked out again.
“Yeah, I think they will,” Eberflus said on WBBM Newsradio 780 on Monday morning when asked if the NFL will hear from the Bears about that. “I think they’ll look at it and they’ll say, ‘Yeah, it’s that type of call (that deserved a penalty).’ We’ll see what they say. Certainly, we want to protect our quarterback at all costs, and we’re going to continue to make sure we stress that before the game to officials.”
Still, this play seems like a nothing burger. Suh looks to be attempting to slap the ball out of Fields hands but since he was on his way down, he made contact with the Bears quarterback’s helmet instead.
