Eli Manning received the warmest of welcomes from Philadelphia Eagles fans last night at The Linc

Last week, Eli Manning talked about returning to the city of Philadelphia for the first time to watch a football game, even though he vowed to never do so after retirement.
Eli Manning on Returning to Philadelphia
“I said when I retired that I would never go back to a football game at Philly, but I think I have to break my promise (for Giants-Eagles). I think I have to go there. I can’t wait to see the amount of double birds I get. Could break a record.” – Eli Manning

Well, last night Manning was in the building, and Eagles fans certainly made sure to honor Manning’s statement and give him as many double birds as possible. It actually started with billboards before he even arrived at the stadium.
At the game, Manning was shown on the Jumbotron and people immediately started booing him and flipping him the double birds. The Eagles’ Jumbotron showed Manning, then jumped to Malcolm Jenkins, Brent Celek, and Torrey Smith, before going back to Manning for more birds and boos.
Pretty funny stuff all around. Just like when Manning was behind center for the Giants, New York got completely destroyed last night and the Philadelphia Eagles will play the winner of the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers at The Linc next weekend in the NFC Championship Game.
Go Birds.
