WATCH: Jonathan Gannon isn’t going anywhere; vows to stay in Philadelphia this offseason

Love him or hate him, Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon wants to remain in Philadelphia as long as he can.
His name has been tossed around as a potential head coaching candidate for multiple teams this offseason. Despite more alluring options out there, Jonathan Gannon isn’t going anywhere.
Following the Eagles 31-7 win over San Francisco in Sunday’s NFC title game, Gannon was asked about the prospect of that game being his last as Philly’s defensive coordinator. He shut it down immediately.
Jonathan Gannon wants to stay in Philly
“Philly’s keeping me,” Jonathan Gannons told the FOX29 reporter. “Good, bad, or indifferent, I’m staying here.”
After what we saw his defense do to the 49ers on Sunday, Gannon can stay in Philly as long as he pleases. If his defensive unit can put together a similar performance against Patrick Mahomes in two weeks, well, then we might as well start constructing another statue to put next to the Doug Pederson/Nick Foles one.
