Maggie Gray from CBS Sports Radio says that Nick Sirianni shouldn’t have his kids at the podium while reporters are ‘trying to do their jobs’

Maggie Gray from the Maggie and Perloff podcast on CBS Sports Radio delivered one of the most ridiculous (yet expected) takes about Nick Sirianni and his kids taking the podium with him during Eagles’ post game coverage.
Maggie Gray doesn’t want Nick Sirianni’s children on the podium after Eagles games
“All professional athletes: your kids are cute. They’re all cute,” Gray said. “We both have kids, they’re cute. Kids are naturally cute. We can see your kids down on the field with confetti, I’m not saying kids shouldn’t be part of this, but to be up there in the press conference after a game? No. These are reporters trying to do their job, number one. And two, we have plenty of time to see your kids. They shouldn’t be up there.”
Jesus Christ Maggie. You’re an asshole.
Look, I’m not going to pretend I know who Maggie Gray is and I definitely never listened to their podcast but here’s a great idea, maybe shut the fuck up?
“These are reporters trying to do their job, number one.”
That’s the part of her ridiculous “take” that will never be a winner. Just do your fucking job then? Nick Sirianni’s kids aren’t preventing you from asking a few questions. Get over yourself. If you can’t get over yourself, then maybe find a different profession because this shouldn’t be an obstacle.
It will always be wild to me that reporters think their jobs are so important that they can make these types of statements to large audiences. Sports writers think they are above everyone else but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Note: The Liberty Line racks up over 650,000 in views on a monthly basis and we have no credentials or verified accounts or any of that bullshit, nor do we want it because that means we would have to be around people like Maggie and Maggie sucks.
Imagine being an NFL beat writer where 2-3 times a week, you are in the locker rooms, talking to players and coaches before and after games, and then, thinking its a bright idea to talk shit to a player or coach who wants to bring their kids out to the podium after a game, maybe 2-3 times during the season because you’re a “journalist trying to do your job.”
It’s a loser take.
Of course, it’s from Maggie Gray, who resides in New York City (of course) tweeted out that this “take” was her legacy.
How embarrassing.
Congratulations Maggie. You join the ranks of every other “journalist” that thinks your job is extremely important when in reality, you’re just an entitled asshole who let media credentials get to your head.
