Coin Toss Curse? Last 8 Super Bowl coin toss winners ended up losing the game

The winner of the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII could be decided before the opening kickoff.
A pretty wild graphic shared by The Athletic on Twitter went viral last week, showing that the past eight coin toss winners in the Super Bowl ended up losing the game.
The trend started in Super Bowl XLIX when the Seattle Seahawks won the toss but lost the game to the New England Patriots. Since then, no coin toss winner has been able to win the Lombardi Trophy.
Between the Drake curse and proof that we could be living in a simulation if/when the Eagles win the Super Bowl tomorrow, there’s plenty of options to make you feel more or less comfortable heading in to tomorrow’s grand finale.
Regardless, I like the Philadelphia Eagles chances of winning their second Lombardi Trophy in the last five years.
Go Birds.
