Drake placed a $700K wager on the Chiefs to win Super Bowl LVII, which is absolutely great to see if you’re an Eagles fan

International music superstar and iconic bandwagon sports fan Drake has wagered $700,000 on the Kansas City Chiefs to beat the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII.
I absolutely love it. There’s no shot I wanted Drake on the Philadelphia Eagles side of things heading into tomorrow. Who knows if the Drake curse is still active but if history holds true, Drake betting against the Eagles is just another sign that there will be parties on Broad Street in Philly Sunday night.
The Drake Curse found its new victim with his $700,000 bet on the Chiefs Super Bowl

Here’s a list of the Drake Curse, dating from 2013 to 2019.

Things definitely quieted down since 2019 and many publications thought the Drake curse may have been lifted.
In October 2021, Drake was snapped standing next to compatriot Alphonso Davies days before Bayern Munich thumped Bayer Leverkusen 5-1. That same month, Tyson Fury knocked out Deontay Wilder in their Las Vegas trilogy fight after he had been supported by Drake online. And the Gypsy King later made light of the supposed bad omen on his Instagram stories, captioning a post: “Curse? No such thing pal.”
I would honestly throw the Philadelphia 76ers in the mix in last year’s playoffs. Embiid hit a game-winner in Toronto and Drake, being the rat that he is, then took pictures with Embiid. Joel then got his face smashed in that same arena which played a huge factor in the Sixers exiting in the second round yet again at the hands of the Miami Heat.

We have finally made it to Super Bowl Weekend. Tomorrow is the grand finale. Go Birds. Fly Eagles Fly.
