Minnesota Timberwolves Twitter gushes over Joel Embiid while Anthony Edwards crowns him the NBA MVP

The Philadelphia 76ers dismantled the Minnesota Timberwolves last night, winning 117-94 behind a masterclass from Joel Embiid.
Last night, Embiid scored 39 points and Tyrese Maxey dropped 27 on Minnesota. Embiid was incredible, grabbing seven rebounds, four assists, a steal and three blocks to go along with 39 points. He shot 4-of-4 from three point range and connected on all nine of his free throw attempts.
I know it may seem harsh but the city of Philadelphia and Sixers fans really need to get themselves together now that it’s mid-March. This team is damn good and more importantly, healthy and we have another NBA Finals run ahead of us.
As anyone who watches the Sixers knows, health has been and will always be the most important factor heading into the NBA playoffs. If you stop and think about it, the Sixers in the post-process years were never really healthy as a team in any of their playoff appearances.
I think the city has suffered enough. Embiid and company have clearly put an emphasis on staying healthy so let’s hope all goes as planned and we can finally see what this team is made of come playoff time.
And with that, let’s just all tell the Minnesota Timberwolves to shut up.
Last night, the T-Wolves tweeted out this photo while Anthony Edwards (who I actually love) was telling the media that Joel Embiid is the true MVP of the league. While Edwards was right, obviously, the city of Philadelphia doesn’t need the praise from the T-Wolves Twitter account or their young superstar.
Sure, it’s nice but I would rather everyone just be pissed off over the next month and a half and get ready to steamroll any team that dares to slow down Embiid and company on their way to the playoffs.

Anthony Edwards on Joel Embiid
I completely understand good sportsmanship but Joel Embiid literally bent over the Minnesota Timberwolves. They are not on the same level as us and their sappy remarks and Tweets are disgusting.
The Process IS The One.
Joel is averaging 33.3 points per game, 10.1 rebounds per game, 4.1 assists per game, and 1.6 blocks per game with a true scoring percentage of 64.7%. For those of you that haven’t had your morning coffee, that’s 33 points per game on 65 percent shooting percentage.
You think he gives a damn about Rudy Gobert and the T-Wolves? Not this year, baby.
Plus, the Timberwolves are barely hanging on to a playoff spot. They are in seventh place in the West and just a game above the .500 mark. They are 5-5 over their last 10 games. No thanks, fellas. Not really interested in your support.
Then after the game, Embiid made sure everyone knew he’s always the best player on the court and that Rudy Gobert means absolutely nothing to him when speaking to reporters.
But sure, I mean, if you want to post a friendly Tweet about Embiid then by all means go ahead.
Again, I’m really not interested in the sportsmanship though.
The Sixers completed a five-game road trip in which they won 4-of-5 games, including a statement win over the weekend against Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks.
They’re locked in the 3rd seed in the Eastern Conference, four games out of first place and just 1.5 games behind the Boston Celtics in second.
It’s go time.
