Redemption Tour: LeBron James and the Lakers have completely destroyed Dillon Brooks and the insufferable Memphis Grizzlies

Oh man, Dillon Brooks and Memphis Grizzlies are in absolute shambles.
After embarrassing themselves on and off the court throughout the playoffs, the Los Angeles Lakers managed to take a commanding 3-1 series lead against the Grizzlies, winning Game 4 117-111 in overtime.
LeBron James led the way with 22 points, 20 rebounds, seven assists, and two blocks while the his “arch nemesis” Dillon Brooks failed yet again to impress, scoring just 11 points on 4-of-11 shooting, including a miserable 1-for-7 effort from beyond the arc.
Side Note: Back in January 2023 – Dillon Brooks said “LeBron doesn’t like to go left” and then James did that with Brooks on him last night. Classic.
Of course, the entire narrative surrounding this series was built on Dillon Brooks running his mouth after Game 2, saying that James was an “old man” which led to a very overhyped Game 3 matchup in Los Angeles.
Backstory…
Dillon Brooks ignited the fire first after Game 2 win in Memphis
“I don’t care. He’s old. … I don’t respect no one until they come and give me 40.”

From there, it’s been all downhill for Brooks and the Grizzlies.
Memphis fell behind 35-9 in the first quarter to the Lakers in Game 3 and entered halftime down 53-37. They lost in blowout fashion. Dillon Brooks shot just 3-of-13 from the floor and getting ejected for hitting LeBron in the nuts.
After the game, Brooks told reporters that he wasn’t going to talk to anyone, which prompted anyone tuned into the series to call Dillon Brooks soft, and rightfully so.
Pathetic: Brooks refused to talk to reporters after Game 3 loss to Lakers >>
Heading into last night, Brooks told reporters that he was tired of being painted the “villain” or the “bad guy” in the NBA and he doesn’t deserve the criticism.
Dillon Brooks backtracking his entire persona and career
That’s hilarious because Brooks has literally made his name relevant in the NBA for being a villain and one of the most hated players in the league.
Brooks, now a broken man and shell of who he once was, is now the laughing stock of the NBA.
The funniest part about this entire situation is the fact that myself and basically anyone who’s not a Lakers fan absolutely hated the Lakers and LeBron James entering the NBA playoffs. Now, we’re in the process of a complete LeBron and the Lakers redemption storyline because of the insufferable Memphis Grizzlies.
If you’re a member of the Memphis Grizzlies you have to be beyond sick of Dillon Brooks. Imagine having to deal with a teammate that calls out LeBron fucking James and then goes out and plays like this over the first four games of a playoff series in which you were the clearcut favorites.

How embarrassing can it get?
I hope it goes even worse in Game 5 as the series shifts back to Memphis.
I’ve said it all season long how insufferable the Memphis Grizzlies are and to watch it all finally collapse has been such a treat.
Now, the Lakers now hold a 3-1 series lead.
Oh and of course, Brooks yet again decided to to avoid speaking with the media, saying only “I’m Out” which is absolutely hilarious from the guy that literally wouldn’t shut up over the past six months.
