WATCH: Adam Hadwin gets destroyed by security guard while attempting to celebrate Nick Taylor’s win at the RBC Canadian Open

PGA Tour golfer Adam Hadwin got absolutely destroyed by a security guard while attempting to celebrate fellow countryman Nick Taylor’s win at the RBC Canadian Open on Sunday.
Nick Taylor won the Canadian Open thanks to a ridiculous 72-foot putt for Eagle on the fourth playoff hole against Tommy Fleetwood.
Hadwin, who has been a long time friend of Nick Taylor went onto the green to celebrate with his friend but as he approached him with a bottle of champagne, security intervened and he got destroyed by a security guard.
Adam Hadwin Destroyed by Security Guard
Completely insane. Credit to the security guard for being on his toes. He clearly thought Hadwin was just a drunk member of the gallery who stormed onto the putting green.
Plus, after the security guard was likely telling people to be quiet and directing foot traffic all weekend, an opportunity to level someone on the 18th green doesn’t come around too often.
Another Angle of Adam Hadwin
Tyrrell Hatton who tied for third in the tournament had this to say on Twitter following the round.
Adam Hadwin’s wife took to twitter to issue the following statement following her husband’s burial.
Not sure what the “Canadian form” is about apologizing to the security guard, but at least he didn’t make a huge deal about it and pull a “do you know who I am?!” card out.
Hadwin is much better off just laughing with the rest of us. Credit to him for attempting to keep the spotlight on Nick Taylor.
