Roster Moves: Seranthony Dominguez heads to 15-Day Injured List, Marte and Cristopher Sanchez recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley

Prior to today’s game against the Oakland Athletics, the Philadelphia Phillies released a bunch of roster moves highlighted by Seranthony Dominguez heading to the 15-Day Injured List.
Phillies Roster Moves 6/17:
- Cristopher Sanchez has been recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
- Luis Ortiz has been optioned to Lehigh Valley.
- Seranthony Dominguez will head to 15-Day IL (Retro June 16th)
- Yunior Marte recalled from Lehigh Valley as an injury replacement player
Seranthony Dominguez 15-Day IL
Newly recalled Cristopher Sanchez will get the start today against the Oakland as the Phillies return to their more normal lineup today with Stott and Marsh returning after Edmundo Sosa, Josh Harrison, and Cristian Pache got the starts in last night’s 6-1 victory.

The Phillies have now won 11-of-13 games to improve to 36-34 on the season. To put that into perspective, two weeks ago, they were six games under .500 at 26-32.
Still, there’s plenty of work to be done. The Phillies remain in third place in the National League East standings, eight games behind the Atlanta Braves in first.
