WATCH: Alec Bohm, Brandon Marsh, and Austin Riley try to predict the weather during last night’s Phillies and Braves rain delay

Last night’s game between the Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves was postponed after a two-hour, 25 minute rain delay.
The game will be made up on September 11th as a part of a separate admission, day-night doubleheader with Game 1 beginning at 1:05PM and Game 2 at 6:40PM.
September 11th Doubleheader Incoming
It’s now Thursday and the Phillies have played just one game since Monday.
Oof. That’s definitely a momentum killer if I’ve ever seen one.
Plus, I know fans in attendance were confused as to why they were sitting around for 2+ hour waiting to see if they were going to play the game. Anyone who opened up the Weather App and looked at the radar could easily see that the rain wasn’t going anywhere.
Alec Bohm and Brandon Marsh were confused as well, signaling over to the Atlanta Braves dugout and Austin Riley, who was also trying to figure out what was happening.
Phillies Rain Delay: Alec Bohm, Brandon Marsh, Austin Riley
Side Note: The funniest part of this video is the fact that the Wet-Dog himself Brandon Marsh actually has dry hair, during a rain delay, while standing outside with rain pouring down on him.
Not sure what type of sorcery that is. Like seriously, how does that even make sense?
Then of course, you have the king of facial expressions Alec Bohm just looking immaculate as always while ruining the hearts and marriages and relationships across the Delaware Valley because every girlfriend, wife, sister, brother, neighbor, father is absolutely obsessed with him.
Anyways, solid video. Personally, I would have went the Pat Burrell Route and hit Riley with one of these, but I understand that Bohm and Marsh are way nicer people than me.

Before we get too off track, the Phillies will wrap up the series against Atlanta this afternoon at 1:10PM. Aaron Nola, who was supposed to start last night, will get the nod today.
That also means that Taijuan Walker, Cristopher Sanchez, and Zack Wheeler (in that order) will be the Phillies’ starting pitchers this weekend against the New York Mets.
Right now, the Phillies are 38-35 on the season, nine games behind the Braves, who are leading the National League East. In the month of June, the Braves are 14-3 and the Phillies are 13-5. The series opener on Tuesday night snapped a six game winning streak for the Phillies as they lost to Atlanta 4-2.
