Bryce Harper hit a two-out home run tonight to tie the game against the Baltimore Orioles 2-2 at Citizens Bank Park. 

As Bryce Harper stepped up to the with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning, the radio broadcast in Baltimore was having a discussion on Harper and how he’s not getting quality contact or barreling up baseballs anymore. Harper then hit a game-tying solo home run to right center.

Baltimore Orioles Radio: “It’s that same recognizable violent uppercut swing by Bryce Harper. But it’s not the same quality of contact…he’s just not barreling up balls.”

Matt Strahm eventually gave the lead back to the Orioles at 3-2, until Bryce Harper singled in the bottom of the ninth inning to keep the Phillies’ hopes alive. Bryson Stott then tied the game with an RBI double to the corner in right scoring Harper from first base.
