During last night’s Phillies win over the Washington Nationals, a fan was caught on video running through the flower beds along the wall in left field.

I’m sorry but if you’re jumping the gate you better get your ass on the field and streak. A “rally runner”, while also loser behavior, is at least entertaining. Damaging the flowers out in left field inside the sacred grounds of Citizens Bank Park is just disgusting.

Looking at the videos, I don’t even think anyone thought it was funny either.
This dude has probably never left the city and rarely sees any plants, trees, or flowers. How he could knowingly just stop his way down the flower bed like a complete lunatic is beyond me. The staff in attendance should have gave him a swift push onto the field and let security handle the rest.

The acceptable form of punishment outside of a lifetime ban from Citizens Bank Park?
I don’t mean to sound harsh, however let’s put this guy in chains with a gardening shovel and have him replant all the flowers that were stomped on during his little run along the walls.
The flowers, obviously purchased by this guy, will then receive plenty of water since everyone in left field will be spraying him with water throughout the entire replanting. (Think Bird Bath in Camden Yards)
Is that cool with Phillies fans? I know it may seem “over the top” but I’m a known plant and flower guy and watching this disgusts me.
Plus, that dork Ken Rosenthal thinks Philly fans went soft so we might as well show him our true colors and treat this guy like the piece of garbage that he truly is.
