Phillies win third straight, destroy the Minnesota Twins 13-2

The Phillies destroyed the first place team in the AL Central last night at Citizens Bank Park, winning 13-2 over the Minnesota Twins.

Cristopher Sanchez was on the mound for the Phillies and bounced back after a rough outing against the Kansas City Royals, throwing six innings while allowing six hits, two earned runs, and three walks.

After JT Realmuto finally had a “get right” game in the finale against the Washington Nationals on Thursday night, the Best Catcher in Baseball continued his resurgence against the Twins. Realmuto went 2-for-4 from the plate with an RBI single and a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning.

If JT Realmuto returns to form and Trea Turner’s 2023 arrival continues over the final two months of the regular season, then every team in the National League should be terrified to play the Philadelphia Phillies.

I was at the game last night so I definitely missed any updates on Bryce Harper. My head is also pounding right now given the fact me and the fellas were crushing tall boy IPA’s in the Hall of Fame Club while the Phillies beat the Twins into oblivion.
