Report: Bill Belichick and long time girlfriend Linda Holiday have split ahead of NFL Week 1, which means Eagles -4 is the LOCK OF THE WEEK

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has officially split up from his long time girlfriend, Linda Holiday.
Six-time Super Bowl champ Belichick has been with Holiday since 2007, but according to reports, they have been in the midst of a drawn-out, back-and-forth breakup for nearly a year.

That has now officially come to an end and apparently has New England Patriots executives “on edge” about the future of Belichick and his willingness to remain head coach of the Patriots moving forward.
The report obviously comes ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles traveling to Foxboro to face the Patriots for Week 1 of the NFL season on Sunday.

Interesting dynamic at play here for Old Billy Boy and the Pats heading into Sunday.
There’s a good amount of reports saying that the Eagles should be concerned that Bill Belichick will now be out for blood and that the Patriots will actually stand a fighting chance against the Eagles now that he’s single and looking for revenge.
I understand that feeling…however
Bad News for Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots
I myself went through quite a “slut phase” after breaking up with my longtime girlfriend (good riddance, bitch) roughly 2 years ago. I was NOT however, in the position to win an NFL game against the reigning NFC Champions with Mac Jones as my quarterback and Bill Belichick certainly won’t be either.
If anything, this is more of a detriment to Bill’s character as a man. Just fucking end bad relationships already, dude. What are you doing going back and forth with your girlfriend, arguing like a teenager for YEARS while wearing six Super Bowl rings?

I guess it makes sense given the fact that Belichick refuses to give up on Mac Jones as actually being a viable option to start an NFL game.
This is a great lesson as to why you cannot bring your personal life onto a football field. It hasn’t worked in the past for New England and it’s certainly not going to work Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Things haven’t really gone well in New England since Belichick’s last break up with Tom Brady. The Patriots are a disaster-class of an organization without Brady, while Tom Terrific was getting blasted and winning Super Bowls in Tampa after he left. Tommy then broke up with his longtime wife and is now banging super models.
Point being, anyone who thinks that this is bad for the Eagles, given the history of Belichick’s inability to manage broken relationships is foolish. This game has now become the lock of Week 1.
Hammer the Philadelphia Eagles -4.
