WATCH: Zach Bryan arrest video posted online, received mixed reactions from viewers
The official police video of Zach Bryan being arrested in Vinita, Oklahoma on Thursday for an “obstruction of investigation” charge has been released on social media.
Bryan was on his way to watch his Philadelphia Eagles play the New England Patriots for NFL Week 1 in Foxboro, Massachusetts when he had an “incident” with Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
According to Bryan, his emotions got the best of him and he was “out of line” with the way he spoke to police officers which is why he was eventually arrested.
Yesterday, TMZ obtained Bryan’s mugshot from the Craig County Jail. Take a look at this beauty…

Zach Bryan immediately apologized for his actions on social media yesterday morning.
“Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said. I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize,” the singer said.
“They brought me to jail, and there is a mug shot of me floating around. Prayers we can all move on from this and prayers people know I’m just trying the best I can, I love you guys and I am truly sorry to the officers.”
Note: Obstruction of Justice in Oklahoma is defined as any person who willfully delays or obstructs any public officer in the discharge or attempt to discharge any duty of his or her office, is guilty of a misdemeanor.”
Zach Bryan Arrest Video
While Bryan was out of line, I’m not sure he deserved to be arrested over it.
Look, I completely understand where the cop is coming from. He’s looking out for his own safety and rolling up to another car that’s been pulled over and is getting issued a citation is a wild move.
On top of that, you have Bryan, obviously annoyed and frustrated with the entire situation, chirping at the cop saying that he’ll go to jail.
That was a mistake.
Bryan admitted it in his apology video above and in the arrest video, apologized within seconds for the comments.
Personally, I think this cop is just being hard ass instead of a human being. Law enforcement as a whole could actually learn a valuable lesson by thinking rationally instead of constantly acting like robots and treating every situation “by the book”.
There was no real reason to arrest Zach Bryan, book him, and making him take a mugshot photo.
How about having a civil conversation with him and explaining why that simply cannot happen?
I feel like that would have gone a long way in this situation, right?
Anyways, I’m stoked to see that Zach Bryan arrived in Foxboro, Massachusetts for tomorrow’s NFL Week 1 matchup between the Birds and Patriots.
Go Birds. Buy a t-shirt. Toss on some Zach Bryan. Remember, we’re all still highway boys, ol sons.
