There’s been an insurrection of squatters, probably Dodgers fans, at a mansion owned by John Middleton Jr in California

An unruly scene is unfolding out in California involving a mansion that’s owned by John Middleton Jr – the son of Philadelphia Phillies owner John Middleton.

John Middleton Jr Mansion Overtaken by Squatters

The Los Angeles Police Department says officers have been called to the home six times this month for trespassing and vandalism. Police removed 10 people on Wednesday and arrested one person on a warrant.

Talk about an eyesore. Neighbors describe the abandoned mansion as a headache and safety hazard. The home is now covered in graffiti from taggers, and squatters have been coming and going for more than two years.

“Every time we call, the police will come and they’ll clear it out, and then within an hour or two, five more people are there and staying the night,” said the neighbor, who didn’t want to be identified. [Source]

What makes it even worse, The always active and trustworthy LAPD states that officers have been called to the home SIX TIMES already this month for trespassing and vandalism and just last Wednesday 10 people were removed from the property.

Obviously, removing squatters from the property isn’t going to solve the problem. Once they clear a bunch out, another horde comes on it.

Listen, if you want to trash the place and party your asses off that’s perfectly fine with me (not really) but let’s keep it there. No reason to vandalize and attack neighbors who are probably going through hell dealing with this property and whoever dares to occupy it.

The insurrection of John Middleton Jr’s mansion has been going on for years.

Why does he allow it? This place looks sick…or at least did at some point.

I have no idea but I’m sure it has something to do with property taxes and it better off being destroyed into ruins and a homeless encampment than actually getting it fix but what do I know. It could also be something to do with Diddy filming a music video there and the hope that the entire mansion burns to the ground to cleanse it from eternal hell but hey, that’s still a developing story so we’ll see how it plays out.

Has anyone asked John P Middleton what’s up? He follows us on Instagram and is always in the mix on social media. Maybe we’ll reach out. Or not. Whatever.

At the end of the day, while it’s common practice out West, we simply can’t have this type of behavior from people in California.

I’m not making a direct connection to the Los Angeles Dodgers and their rat infested baseball team and fans but it’s hard to ignore the location of each and where the homeless insurrection of Johnny Mids Jr mansion is currently happening right under their watchful eyes.

The Phillies just locked up the NL East last night against the Chicago Cubs down at The Bank and now trail the Dodgers by just a half-game for the best record in the National League and all of Major League Baseball.

That means the No. 1 seed is well within reach when we paint October red and I can already taste home field advantage throughout the postseason.

Sending all of Philly’s homeless out to John Middleton Jr’s mansion is enticing but we can worry about that after the World Series, ya know?

Still no word on if Shohei Ohtani’s interpreter who “stole $16 million” from him was on the scene. I’m surprised the city of Los Angeles, Major League Baseball or really anyone with a social media account didn’t immediately try to blame him for what happened.

Wouldn’t be the first time he took the fall for something he really had no part in besides speaking a few words in English for the greatest baseball player ever, right?

Anyways, squatting is wild. Maybe one day I’ll get a tip on the next mansion and slide my way into an oceanfront property out in California.

For now, I’ll happily stick to the suburbs and a quick trip to Broad Street for a Phillies parade in roughly a month and we can call it even.
