The “Exciting Whites” took over the Eagles Parade, and it was perfect
There’s nothing normal about the Philadelphia Eagles, so it only makes sense that their Super Bowl-winning defensive backs would roll up to the parade with the wildest introduction of the day.
When Cooper DeJean and Reed Blankenship were brought to the mic at the Art Museum, they were officially introduced as… “The Exciting Whites.”
Obviously that’s what everyone in the city calls them and obviously, it absolutely rips.

DeJean took the mic first, staying cool and composed (as usual):
“I’m super grateful to be here with this team. Super grateful to be a part of this city. I love you guys. I appreciate you guys. Thank you, thank you for everything.”
Nice and classy. Then… Blankenship grabbed the mic and went full-tilt Philly mode.
“I used to pray for times like this, to rhyme like this…”
The man broke out Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares” like it was 2017 all over again. No fear. No hesitation. He had the crowd going wild and officially cemented himself as a Philly folk hero for life.
How Did We Get Here?
Look, a white cornerback in the NFL is basically a myth at this point. A white safety? Less rare, but still not exactly common. The Eagles somehow ended up with both starting in the same secondary, and now they’ve fully embraced their tag-team nickname.

Every time “The Exciting Whites” get mentioned, someone shares that photo of a wine aisle with the same name. Fitting. But honestly? These guys are pure diesel fuel on the field, and if they actually follow through with starting a podcast together, you already know it’s going to be must-watch content.
Every Eagles fan in Philly wanted Cooper DeJean to be their Valentine during the parade
For now, though, The Exciting Whites are champions. Super Bowl ring secured. Philly fully embracing them. Reed Blankenship might need to work on his rapping. And drunk Birds fans still need to make sure they can tell the two apart…lol.
