Preview: Flyers vs. Rangers

The orange and black look to extend their current win streak to 5 against rival and fellow hot-streaking Rangers, setting up a showdown in South Philly.
Tonight is the first game in a home and home series this weekend, with the second game Sunday in NYC.
The Flyers won the only meeting this season 5-1 all the way back in December.
With only 19 games remaining on the schedule, you could say every game down the stretch is important especially when 13 of your final 19 come against Eastern Conference opponents including huge matchups against TB, WAS, PIT, and BOS.
With a win tomorrow, #Flyers would match their final victory total (37) from last season — and still have 18 games left.

Key To The Game:
I may sound like a broken record here, but this one is simple. Flyers need to jump out to an early lead against Rangers and put a little pressure on them. Playing a team as hot as the Rangers, two nights in a row, it’s important to set the tone early. A first-minute, first-period goal will get the boys hauling ass in the right direction.
Player To Watch:
The Flyers have been playing their best hockey in years, definitely this decade. You can always go with the standard Hayes, Coots, G, TK, or Provy. However, my eyes will be locked on rookie forward Nic Aube-Kubel (THE NAK ATTACK). The young Alberta native has 5 points (3 Goals 2 assists) in his last 6 games and is providing an extra spark to an already explosive offense.
