Welcome to The Misery Report

Fairmount Park in 2016. Myself, Kevin DiPasquale, and Steve Baruti recorded the first episode of “The Misery Report” in Fairmount Park. Up until this past weekend, there was only one episode ever recorded.
With tremendous timing, The Liberty Line launched during the most trying times in sports history. In a matter of days, we lost everything in sports due to the coronavirus. Also during this time, myself, Kevin, and Steve decided to reboot TMR and use The Liberty Line platform, who already hosts two of the best Philadelphia Sports podcasts in the city, We The Process and The Philly Special Podcast, as an outlet to provide a new perspective on Philly sports.
Again, tremendous timing.
Thursday, March 12th. We started recording. We recorded for over 3 hours. I accidentally deleted everything. Kevin wasn’t happy. I don’t blame him.
Friday, March 13th. We reentered the studio during the around 4pm and recorded well over six hours of content. Steve returned home after another one of his hiking trips. The guy is an absolute professional. Make sure you follow his instagram page.
With absolutely nothing to talk about sports related, we took phone calls and spoke with friends locally and in other cities about the coronavirus quarantine. A string of interviews were created called “The Corona Tapes”.
The First Four Episodes are now live. Each episode is a quick 20-30 minutes.
I’ll write something up each day this week as we announce each episode.
