Nickell Robey-Coleman as many of you know is infamous for his crucial pass interference no-call in the NFC Championship game against the Saints. This led to the installation of the ability to challenge pass interference calls starting last season.
Coleman has 290 tackles, 6 INTs, and 48 pass breakups while only missing one game in his 7-year career. It seems that Coleman will replace Jalen Mills’ role as he is moving to safety. Jim Schwartz has a connection with Coleman from when he was the Buffalo Bills Defensive Coordinator in 2014. This is where Coleman had his most starts in the league with seven.
The Eagles continue to revamp the cornerback room and at age 28, Coleman again fills the “youth retool” that GM Howie Roseman talked about a month ago. As days go on in free agency, it continues to look as if cornerback Rasul Douglas’s time in Philly is coming to a close
