Eagles exercise Zach Ertz’s 2021 Option

Per Tom Pelissero this morning that the Eagles exercised TE Zach Ertz’s 2021 option yesterday. The move is reportedly “strictly procedural”. Ertz is now locked in for $8 million this season and $8.25M next season with talks on an extension likely to pick up in the coming months.

Another bit of news about Ertz dropped a few days ago. He and wife Julie Ertz are donating $100,000 to Philabundance to help Philadelphia families in need due to the coronavirus.
