BREAKING: Pro Sports can start competing and training again in PA in yellow and green phases – Sixers

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has announced that pro sports teams can start practicing again in the yellow and green phases. Philadelphia is expected to move to the yellow phase on June 4th. This means that the Eagles should be able to report to Novecare and get some team practices going, but with no spectators.

Once sports come back, the only question will be when can there be fans again? For Pennsylvania, here is what Governor Wolf had to say about fans coming back.
“In the end, the ultimate arbiter of our fate here when it comes to sporting events are going to be individuals who want to participate, individuals who want to be part of sports, whether it’s amateur or professional, and we’ve got to make sure that we give them the confidence to then go to these sporting events and feel safe, that they’re not taking their lives or health into their hands.”
This is obviously a huge step in the right direction for the Eagles and the rest of the NFL to start on time. I talked yesterday about the importance of team practices this offseason because of all of the new faces. They have been patiently waiting to get on the field for the first time in midnight green. While in quarantine, many have been using this time to work out and be prepared whenever the time comes to go to Novecare.

In an interesting site, recently released safety Malcolm Jenkins practiced with Rodney Mcleod and Will Parks last week.

Here’s new Eagles linebacker Shaun Bradley training with Eagles RB’s Miles Sanders and Correy Clement.
This is exciting news, and I can’t wait to see photos and videos of all the new additions in Midnight Green very soon.
