Dallas Goedert Sucker Punched in South Dakota

Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert was reportedly sucker punched at a South Dakota restaurant on Friday night. Following the incident he was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.

That’s pretty much the story, as full details are yet to be known. The incident was first reported by Mike Kaye of NJ.com.

Goedert, who’s from and played college ball in South Dakota, was reportedly with his family at the time, happened at 1am. What’s kind of odd, besides the fact that Dallas Goedert was having dinner at 1am with his family, is that police were called to the scene because “people [were] busting glasses and busting heads.”

The whole situation seems a bit odd to me. I’m sure there’s more to the story. Glad Dallas is okay and it’s always great to see his teammates chime in showing support on social Twitter.
