Phillies 53-Man “Summer Camp” Roster

The Phillies released their 53-man roster on Sunday night for Summer Camp, which begins this week. Here’s how the roster breakdown works.
First, the roster can grow up to as high as 60 players before the roster trimming begins.
Teams will be able to carry 30 players on their active roster for the first two weeks of the season.
The number shrinks to 28 after two weeks and then to 26 two weeks after that.
The Phillies’ 53-man list includes 31 pitchers, 10 infielders, three catchers and nine outfielders.
As expected, top pitching prospect Spencer Howard and Alec Bohm are on the list.
