Aaron Nola will be on the mound for the Phillies on Opening Day

Not surprises here but we needed something to write so here ya go:
Aaron Nola will be the Phillies Opening Day pitcher on Friday against the Marlins.

There was a slight concern that Nola’s late arrival to Summer Camp would bump him back a day and we would see Zach Wheeler on the mound Friday, but after Saturday where Nola only allowed 1-hit over 5 innings against the Nationals, those concerns seem to have disappeared.
Good news for the Phillies, Aaron Nola dominated against the Marlins in 2019.
In three 2019 starts, Aaron Nola posted a 2.08 ERA in 21.2 IP with a 0.969 WHIP against Miami.
Marlins batters produced just a .585 OPS.
Seeya Friday night.
