Jalen Reagor Agrees to Philadelphia Eagles 4-Year, $13.3M Rookie Deal

As expected the Eagles agreed to terms with their first-round pick of the 2020 NFL Draft; Jalen Reagor. It will be a four-year deal with a fifth-year team option. Reagor is the third player out of the ten they drafted to get a rookie deal squared away.

I would fully expect to see most of those ten rookies under contract come the 2020-21 season. So now, Jalen Reagor, Quez Watkins as well as Prince Tega Wanogho are the three rookies who have signed a deal to this point. The unsigned draft picks include, Jalen Hurts, Davion Taylor, K’von Wallace, Jack Driscoll, John Hightower, Shaun Bradley, and Casey Toohill.
This Reagor signing should come as no surprise, as he is expected to compete for a significant role even as a rookie. The Eagles needed all the help they could get this offseason at the wide receiver position. Many Eagles fans aren’t giving Jalen Reagor the respect nor shot that he deserves. Everyone was so fixated on acquiring CeeDee Lamb that the thought of anyone else leaves a bitter taste in their mouths.
Jalen Reagor has all the skillsets the Eagles were looking for this offseason in a receiver prospect. That is speed, verticality, and versatility. You add all those things on top of his tremendous work ethic; I think Reagor could become a fan favorite very quickly.
