Phillies Opening Day Roster and Expanded Playoffs for 2020

Baseball is back. Finally. Opening Night kicks off tonight and the Phillies will take the field tomorrow night against the Miami Marlins.
Today, the Phillies dropped their Opening Night roster:
Expanded Playoffs:
The MLB and MLBPA agreed on a deal today to expand the MLB playoffs from 10 teams to 16 teams.
The new playoff format will feature a best-of-three series in the first round instead of a sudden-death wild-card game. The top two teams in each division will qualify for the postseason – with the two other best teams in each league filling out the 16-team pool.
The winners of the first round will advance to the best-of-five division series and traditional best of seven League Championship Series and World Series.
Good news for the Phillies. We’re definitely making the playoffs now.
This should make everyone happy. Fans get more baseball. Owners get extended TV deals. Players will be able to receive more revenue after the regular season.
And just like that, sports are back and everyone is happy. You love to see it.
