This afternoon the Philadelphia Eagles announced a slew of players would be placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list until they are cleared, Lane Johnson being one of them. Joining Johnson are Tackle Jordan Mailata and LB Nathan Gerry.

This means these players aren’t allowed on team grounds due to testing positive for Coronavirus or they were in close contact with someone who did test positive. These 3 players will have to quarantine until they test negative and also pass the teams testing and treatment protocols until they are allowed to return.
Other Eagle Alshon Jeffrey was put on the PUP list to start the season due to his Lisfranc fracture last season. Marquise Goodwin recently opted out of the season due to having a child recently and for his own health. So far he is the only Eagle to opt-out of the 2020 season.
