The New Jersey native returned to the Eagles last year and had a 5 sack season which is a career-high for him since 2014. Eagles GM Howie Roseman and Defensive Coordinator Jim Schwartz love adding to the defensive line whenever they can. This move made sense for both sides as Curry is very familiar with the Eagles defensive scheme, and is close with many players on the team. He had other teams wanting to sign him, but he chose to come back to Philly.
Sources confirm Vinny Curry is returning to the eagles … he was weighing offers between Cleveland and here … and In the end chose to stay in philly
