Relievers Connor Brogdon and Blake Parker have been called up to join the team. Nick Pivetta optioned to Triple A. Nick Williams and Trevor Kelley have been designated for assignment.
Connor Brogdon is a 25 year old RHP from Clovis, CA. He was taken in the 10th round by the Phillies in the 2017 MLB Draft. During his career in the minors, Brogdon posted a record of 14-6 with a 2.50 ERA in 180 innings pitched.
Hearing credible buzz of potential Phillies bullpen moves. Connor Brogdon being strongly considered for promotion. Lanky RH. Mid 90s with excellent changeup. Stay tuned

Blake Parker is on the other end of the spectrum. The 35 year old RHP has posted an 11-10 record with a 3.56 ERA in 282 innings pitched.
At this point, any help is needed. The current Phillies bullpen has a combined 9.87 ERA this season. Phillies fans can finally rejoice that Nick Pivetta is no longer with the team.
Things are really starting to turn around and there’s a chance more help is on the way.
Hearing that relievers David Robertson and Ranger Suarez are headed north from CLW to continue mound progressions. Robertson coming back from TJ surgery, Suarez from Covid protocol. Neither is ready to help yet. Need to face hitters, etc, but could help at some point this season.

Now Confirmed:
RHP David Robertson and LHP Ranger Suárez are headed to Philadelphia to throw for Joe Girardi and #Phillies coaches in the coming days before heading to alternate site in Allentown to continue rehab work. It puts them on the radar to help at some point.
