Outside the Bubble: NBA 20-21 Season Details and Start Date

The NBA Bubble has been a great success in getting professional sports back during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Bubble has kept players and teams alike virus free while resuming play in Disney World.

This model, however, would only work for the scenario the NBA finds themselves currently in: a limited amount of games, then playoffs, for roughly a 3 month time period. Per sources (we’re big time journalists) the NBA is looking to move forward with the following schedule for the 2020-2021 season:

  • 12/1 is the official start of 20-21 season
  • Expected to play 82 games
  • Fans in attendance at limited capacity
  • Season starting around Christmas

As we all know, things tend to change daily in the world today but if the NBA can get close to checking those 4 bullet points, that’d be a huge step forward from where we currently stand today.

We’ll keep you updated.
