Eagles Bring Back Trevor Williams

After cutting him at the end of July, the Eagles are bringing back former Chargers cornerback Trevor Williams.
Former Chargers’ CB Trevor Williams reached agreement with the Eagles and former Dolphins’ S Walt Aikens reached agreement with Titans, per @RosenhausSports.

This is most likely due to the fact that Sidney Jones is missing his fifth straight practice today. Time is running out for Jones and Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz acknowledged that this morning.
Our time is starting to run short and all we can do is coach the guys available to practice. There’s still time, but time is starting to creep in on us.”
Williams has played 39 games in his career with 3 interceptions. He has shown promise as a starting corner in the league, but injuries have kept him off the field. As we all know, the Eagles always need depth at cornerback, and Williams can fit that role. Hopefully, Sidney Jones can get back on the field shortly, but it seems like his tenure with the Eagles may be coming to an end.
