Phillies win 5th straight.

Rhys Hoskins had three hits, including a 3-run HR and Zach Eflin pitched seven beautiful innings to lead the Philadelphia Phillies to their fifth straight win and a 4-1 victory against the Braves Saturday Afternoon

This team hasn’t won 5 straight games since 2018. Rhys Hoskins is back. There’s no doubt about it. He almost homered TWICE today but settled for a double after a deep shot to right center hit the top of the wall and bounced back onto the field.
New guy Brandon Workman pitched a scoreless ninth for his 7th save in 8 tries this season. The Phillies are moving in the right direction. So go out tonight, enjoy yourself, and get ready for Sunday Night Baseball tomorrow with Jake Arrieta on the mound looking for a sweep and a chance to be one game back in the National League East.
Talk to em’ Didi
