Eagles Announce 8 Captains for 2020

With the Eagles season beginning in 4 days against the Washington Football Team, the team announced their 8 captains for the 2020 season.
Carson Wentz, Jason Kelce, and Jason Peters are your offensive captains. Rodney McLeod, Brandon Graham, and Fletcher Cox are your defensive captains. The shocking additions were Craig James and Duke Riley commanding the Special Teams Unit.
Both Riley and James joined the Eagles in 2019 and have been great standouts so far during camp and look to take over since the loss of Kamu Grugier-Hill to Miami in Free Agency.
This will be Wentz’s 4th season as a captain and Kelce and Cox’s 3rd. Malcom Jenkins and Grugier-Hill were the final two captains last year. The addition of 3 full time captains is a bold move but it shows how many leaders are on this team in all aspects of the game.
